2009 Fall Soccer
Registration
Again this season AYSO Incline Soccer will have boys and girls U5 through U14 age divisions. Children born between August 1, 1995 and July 31, 2005 are eligible for league play for the 2009 Fall season.
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) registration fee for Incline Village, Nevada (Region 995) for the 2009 season (August to October) is $70 per child, $60 per additional family member. The registration fee includes a uniform (team jersey, black shorts and coordinating socks) that each player can keep, and an end-of-season award (e.g. trophy, medal).
PLEASE NOTE: All players MUST present a copy of their birth certificate to verify age, except for those players that have played AYSO in Incline Village in any past season. Also, all
parents joining our team of volunteers must present a photo id (e.g., driver’s license). Thanks for your cooperation.
Registration closed June 12, 2009. However, you can still register by mail on a "space-available" basis. Cost is $70 per child, $60 per additional family member. Please mail your registration and volunteer forms as soon as possible.
Please pick up registration and volunteer forms at the IVGID Recreation Center. Mail both forms, with a copy of the player’s birth certificate and a copy of a photo ID for each volunteer parent to the AYSO address to the right.
Coach Information
For the regular season during the fall, we strongly encourage all volunteer coaches to become AYSO-certified for the age group in which they coach. For example, if one is planning to coach a U10G team, he should have a "U10 Coach" certification from AYSO. If one would like to coach an all-star team at the Kit Carson All Star tournament at the end of the season (U10 and up), he/she is required to have the age-level certification, as the Kit Carson All Star tournament is considered a "concurrent secondary play competition." In addition to the above certification, all volunteers are required to submit an AYSO Volunteer form (every year) and complete the Safe Haven for Coaches class (only need to take this class once).
Training for Safe Haven, U08 Coach, and U10 Coach are all available on line and take less than one hour each. Make sure you have your AYSO Volunteer ID and visit http://www.aysotraining.org/courselist.html. If you do not have your AYSO Volunteer ID, make sure you have completed and submitted your volunteer form for this year and Contact Us. We'll send your ID back to you via email.
Unfortunately, Region 995 (Incline Village) does not offer coach training. However, many neighboring regions do, and you are welcome to attend their training sessions. Region 995 will reimburse Incline coaches for any registration fees.
